Looks Like My Work is Done Here

In Age of Persuasion on January 6, 2011 at 7:37 am

Terry O’Reilly has posted the links to the official Age of Persuasion podcast and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve enjoyed making the shows available to the 1200 subscribers to the unofficial podcast and hearing Terry acknowledge its existence on The Sound of Young America, but also I’m glad licensing has been arranged to make it an official podcast available.

Unless I am asked to remove the previous seasons, I will continue to make them available here.

  1. And what a fine job it was! Thanks for taking the time to release this unofficial podcast!

  2. Just a quick note — the podcast being proffered by CBC is not the same show we hear on the air or streamed online. They’ve gotten over the licensing details by simply not including the music.

Sadly it does take away from the show. For instance: No Van Halen music in the “Speedbumps” episode means that you listen to Terry prattle on non-stop for a long, long time without interruption. It’s not the same experience.

  3. Thanks for all of your efforts! Agree with Scott M that the new podcasts aren’t as good as what you were doing. Though, in context, not as bad as watching WKRP with generic muzak.
